Suzuki motorcycles are very well known around the world. This Japanese brand of motorcycles is one of the biggest 4 manufacturers on this planet since 1952, year when they started and they have become a very big company since then, offering a complete range of street, off road and race winning motorcycles, with every kind of motorcycle tyres.

But at the beggining, not all was motorcycles. Michio Suzuki was a loom manufacturer, and despite his looms success, he realized that his company had to diversify and started to look at other products. After the war, the Japanese people needed affordable and reliable personal transportation.

 

 Suzuki developed in 1952 the "power free", a bycicle with a 2 stroke engine, the system was so ingenious that the patent office of the new democratic government granted Suzuki a financial subsidy to continue research in motorcycle engineering, then Suzuki Motor Corporation was born.

That company has today a 15,000 people working worldwide, who create and distribute products on more than 190 countries, and sells more that 1.8 million of vehicles a year. Suzuki motorcycles are the choice of more than 2 million riders every year.
